Oracle Database

This article describes how to configure TYPO3 to use an Oracle database instead of MySQL.

• The first section shows how to install Oracle Server or Oracle Client if you plan to connect to a remote Oracle server;
• The second section explains how to add Oracle support to PHP;
• Finally the third section explains how to actually configure TYPO3 to use an Oracle database.
